Sarb S. Teja, CGA, Interim President & CEO

Mr. Teja brings more than ten years of financial management experience to CIT. As a former manager at KPMG, LLP, Mr. Teja was involved in several merger and acquisition transactions, where he worked with both public and private corporations in the high-technology sector. In past years, Mr. Teja has also held the position of Director of Finance for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada (B.C. Division), as well as the position of Controller for a wireless software startup company. Most recently, Mr. Teja has formed SME Online Accounting, Inc., which provides financial outsourcing solutions to accounting firms and emerging companies. Mr. Teja's diverse financial management experience strengthens CIT's existing management team while guiding the lateral and vertical economic growth opportunities presented within the CIT's business model.

Meir Kahtan, Media Director

For over 15 years, Meir Kahtan Public Relations has initiated coverage for countless financial, high technology, medical, legal, and real estate firms. From online banking to eCommerce, and from web-based real estate to promotion of the Internet itself, Mr. Kahtan has experience as an innovator. Mr. Kahtan's clients are regularly seen on national television outlets such as CNBC, ABC, and CNN, and read about in major print media like The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and the Financial Times. Mr. Kahtan has the ability to mobilize a campaign at lightening speed. As a division of a full-service advertising agency, Mr. Kahtan also specializes in carrying out simultaneous public relations and advertising campaigns. Synchronizing these functions has proven highly potent for his clients - it ensures a unity of voice, a coordination of the overall media strategy, and a collaborative creative process. Meir Kahtan will be a cornerstone in the direction of the Media Services Department of CIT.

Dr. Norbert Smeets, Executive Consultant

Dr. Norbert Smeets will provide insights and recommendations on new technologies registered at the Center of Innovation Technology site. Dr. Smeets has many years of experience working as an Anesthesiologist and presently acts as the management coordinator of Anesthesiology for all hospital and hospitalization disciplines within Medical Spectrum Twente, which belongs to the largest not-academic hospitals of The Netherlands. At present, Medical Spectrum Twente has hospital locations at Enschede and Oldenzaal in the Netherlands. Within Medical Spectrum Twente work approximately 4000 employees, hereunder 200 specialists. Medical Spectrum Twente works with an annual budget of approximately EUR 190,000,000. Dr. Smeets will provide LOM Logistics Inc., with his expertise while helping to structure the success of the Center of Innovation Technology. Dr. Norbert Smeets will utilize his medical advisory role to support the Center of Innovation Technology in the research and development of emerging technologies, focusing primarily within his own discipline on Biology, medicine, society, and sciences department.
